Many thanks for reviewing my book! Yes, I am aware of a good many things I would have liked to have treated in greater detail. In fact, I would really have liked to have had the time and resources to have been able to travel to Chicago and other locales and to have researched certain topics in much greater depth.
But I was fortunate to have had interactions & conversations with some people which others couldn't have, and which gave me at least a certain amount of information not generally available. My primary purpose was to be informative (and as accurately so as possible) and (hopefully) to present the information in an entertaining and enjoyable manner. It seems I may have accomplished this goal, for which I am pleased.
And yes, there are actually a couple of minor issues with the format which I'm addressing right now, but which aren't technically "wrong", just not ideal.
Also, I am greatly looking forward to Mr. Floyd Webb's upcoming documentary on Keehan. He has been fortunate to have had some great resources and he has put alot of hard work into the project. You can be sure it will be a fascinating look into the early days of the martial arts in the United States! -

Hello! Thank you for reviewing my book.
Yes, unfortunately there were some things I would have liked to discuss in greater detail, but I did not always have access to the necessary documentation or people. And in some cases, though I was able to contact certain individuals, they would not discuss certain subjects. But I was able to have some interesting discussions which, together with other types of research, formed the basis of this book.
My primary interest was to correct some of the mis-information floating around and to provide some other details not generally available. Hopefully my book will be seen as being both informative and entertaining (which seems to be the case).
Yes, I do have some issues with the formatting, which, though not technically "wrong", is nonetheless not quite as I would have preferred. I will see what can be done about it on my end.
And finally, Mr. Floyd Webb has had some great resources and put in a great deal of time and effort on his Keehan documentary. I look forward to seeing the final result. Many thanks. -

.I would also recommend reading Masaad Ayoob's series of Dante interview/articles for "Black Belt" magazine, originally published shortly after Dante's death in the mid-'70s, to supplement and round out the story of the "Deadliest Man Alive"
You can find those articles and many more here: http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/countdante/ -

Thanks - I found the Ayoob articles on GoogleBooks, but it looks like that group has a number of others.
