    BTW: good choice on the 6" for .357, you don't really get any performance from the .357 over .38+p w/o being at least 4", better 6". Definitely a good choice, you can hunt small stuff and train with .38, hunt big stuff & self defense with .357

    Next time you have some cashola, check out the Ruger SP101. They have some sweet little 3" .357mag revolvers that just will... not.... QUIT!!!!
    Actually you get a bit of a longer sight plane with the 6" barrel which will help make more accurate shots at further distances.

    Well, yeah. I didn't really think to mention the sight radius, as 6" is longer than say, 2".... :pottytrai

    Those two comparison videos are pretty impressive. It would make shooting hot .357 rounds a little bit more fun out of a shorter barrel.

    Yeah, I'm pretty curious how a ported 3" SP101 .357mag would handle? Probably like a friggin' dream!

    I'd love to see some vids! I'd imagine a day at the range shooting .38spl through a ported barrel would be nice and easy as well.

    definitely easier than .357
