Use these techniques wisely, or you may cripple your partner greatly. Notice how I let him throw me, or else my throws would have severely maimed his body. How lucky you all are to witness these secrets for sure.

Long story short, the guy taught me crap judo a few years ago, and we did an investigation on him here and found out he had doctored his name on photos of certificates to make him look like he had black belts in BJJ and Judo.
Read around some and you'll be amazed at some of the crazy invovled.Let your anger be like a monkey trapped inside a pinata; waiting inside, hoping that the children don't break through with the stick.

Hee hee. I was wondering how that "third leg of Judo" looked like.
That's some awfully wrong body position. As it was clearly demonstrated to you by Kimbo, being this off to the side makes you lose much of your throwing power, I'd wager.
In my experience, the "steering wheel" hand motion actually works for certain footsweeps (although not pushing up and away like demonstrated). I do okuri that way and never have been called on it. That's not how I'd produce kuzushi for o-soto, though.Last edited by kikoolol; 2/28/2010 1:10am at .

That's kind of the point I was telling Kimbo (I dont know if you could hear me though at the 1:15 mark where I make a fotsweep motion). I said to him how you know you use a steering wheel motion for sweeps, well i was showed the same thing for O soto, so when you step in, you pull one arm up, and tuck the other arm towards the arm pulled up.
I believe crp4ever even commented on how that could work for some leg sweeps, but it's dead wrong for o soto.Last edited by ZenOfAnger; 2/28/2010 9:38am at .
