Thanks for all the replies, obviously it does happen even if only occasionally. I haven't watched any of the YouTube clips yet though because the PC I'm using right now hates Flash Player.

And thanks to GoJu-Joe for the clarification on the use of Judo throws in MMA.

Small aside: are there any good ways to train drop-seionage without KOing your partners? My old dojos didn't let us practice it by dropping to both knees (one of the guys said two knees was illegal in competition), but it sounds like it'd be great to practice for MMA. Just as long as you're not constantly breaking your partners.

switch the lapel grip to a head-wrap/headlock and just collapse nicely, softly under them
Many things we do naturally become difficult only when we try to make them intellectual subjects. It is possible to know so much about a subject that you become totally ignorant.

I drop to both knees and haven't unintentionally KO'd anyone yet, just make sure that you control them via their arm so they go over your shoulder and not your head.

Its drop katagaruma I can't seem to stop heads hitting the floor with, unless they tuck their heads of course

Keep in mind you watch what surface you are on doing drop seoinage. We were on edge of matt and when I was able to pull drop seoinage. Except that my knee went out and smacked into hard wood. My partner fell to matt but my knee was hurting for very long time.
