I love that people accuse sports figures who grant interviews of being attention whores.

I am glad to be reminded that this sport has progressed enough that these things demand apologies (warranted or not). Take this back situation back maybe 5 years and nobody would've blinked. I think this says good things about what direction the sport is heading in.

I like Mir, mostly. He's an exciting fighter and I think the fight with Carwin is going to be great. His previous comments were over the top and hilariously hypocritical. The apology was appropriate, but the whole thing is really not that big of a deal. I mean, did anyone, Brock included, really think he actually wanted Brock to die?
