@ Snake: Yeah as I said in the OP, both me and my coach have already gone over the footage together and formulated the plan from that. This thread is just to get some other opinions and for the lulz. It's not my primary means of analyzing my opponent and determining my gameplan or anything.

He wants me to use a lot lf lateral movements, inside and outside leg kicks, teeps and sidekicks when he's charging in, and most of all, to keep moving laterally. He figures that my opponent's pace will slow dramatically as the rounds go on and his legs get battered. I'm not going to be shooting or even initiating takedowns unless in trouble, tied up in the clinch, or catching a kick. We're trying to stay wary of his guard and avoid the ground unless I'll be falling into a dominant position.

@ MMAMikey: My power is nothing to write home about. If I land enough hits, I can break somebody down, but I'm far from a one-hit-KO type of guy.

That sounds like a friggin good plan.. that was all I was going to suggest against an aggressive stright-in kinda guy. tbh if you were a big puncher you'd probably be worse off because they tend to ignore their coaches and go toe to toe as soon as they get hit.

    good luck

there is one ancient mental trick most fighters do not know about:
you furiously fap off to your oponents picture and come all over it.
that way he's already your bitch even before he steps into the ring!
    try it...

    BITE HIS FUCKING HEAD OFF!!!

No but seriously, use head movement, check kicks, and utilize your jab. Don't get scared btw, there's nothing this guy can do to you that you haven't dealt with before.
