Bowles is gonna KTFO Cruz. Torres will probably win his fight as well. Then we'll probably see Bowles v Torres 2.

Hell if I know. The WEC belts are so competitive that making picks is pretty much asking to be proved wrong.

Looks like an excellent card, glad to see Lil Evil back in the mix.

I'll openly be a homer and pick Courtney Buck (we're both Minnesota Top Team members) to win by TKO.

I'd also love to take Jens, but I have a hard time believing that the game hasn't passed him by. I think both Torres and Bowles win, along with Karen D.

Brian Bowles Vs. Dominick Cruz- Bowles
Miguel Angel Torres Vs. Joseph Benavidez-Torres
Jens Pulver Vs. Javier Vazquez- Vazquez
Deividas Taurosevicius Vs. LC Davis- Taurosevicius
Bart Palaszewski Vs. Karen Darabedyan- Darabedyan
Scott Jorgensen Vs. Chad George- Jorgensen
Chad Mendes Vs. Erik Koch- I'm drawing a blank on both of these guys.
Danny Castillo Vs. Anthony Pettis- Castillo
Fredson Paixao Vs. Courtney Buck- Don't know about these guys either.
Ricardo Lamas Vs. Bendy Casimir- Lamas

I'm excited about this card. Bowles is one of my favorite fighters due largely to the way he he throws his hands. I think he'd make a great champ and I'm hoping this will be the first of many title defenses for him. We'll have to see though, you have to defend the title to be the champ and he doesn't have many fights on his record.
I'm picking Torres because I think he's just a much better fighter than Benavidez. I do have some doubts about this though. IMHO the reason Torres was so dominant wasn't because he was physically superior to his opponents, but because he had a better game plan. It looked like he had Bowles in trouble and I don't think he would have eaten the shot that put him down if he hadn't been over-confidant and wreckless. I wonder if his cage generalship can keep up with the constantly growing talent in the Bantam weights.
As much as I'd like to see Pulver win I'm afraid he's past his due-date. Time marches on.
Taurosevicius and Darabedyan have both impressed me as promising fighters, although I haven't seen much of either- one fight each that I can think of. My impression is that both have a lot of ability that needs to be polished.
I don't have much to say about the rest of the card other than that I always like watching Castillo fight. He lost to Roller, but he looked good for a lot of the fight. I've got a feeling that this is going to be a good fight.

I hope Pulver wins...hes had quite a few losses now.

I guess Aldo vs. Faber is the first PPV for WEC which pisses me off. I mean its a staked card but WEC has always been free TV. I buy most UFC's and want to watch WEC..but if they are going to start charging???I dunno.
