    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Fans of old school UFC, see here.

    From: nightmareofbattle.com

"Titan Fighting Championship is quite a small MMA promotion in Japan run by PRIDE veteran Kenichi Yamamoto. They always have an open-weight tournament in their events. They allow headbutts, elbows. Bareknuckle if you want. Their fighting surface is quite unique. Fights are 34 minutes long besides the semifinals and final which have unlimited rounds until someone is stopped."

Another reason why Japan rules. Its nice to see that somewhere, these kind of rules are still used.

is that TFC connected to this in any way?

    http://www.titanfighting.com/

they share the same name. however the english site lists headbutts as illegal.

EDIT: I guess not. the japanese site has a different address: http://tfcp.jp/
I think this is cooler. problem is, if they bring it to the west, what would they name it?

That does indeed look fun. I like the mental logo and video game style tale of the tape as well, completely mad.

Nice ! I like how their fighting surface looks like the one from the dragonball tournaments.

I shouldn't have clicked, because I'm not a fan of old school UFC. I would rather the athletes be safer so they can have longer, healthier careers.

Let's not forget that the rule changes were adopted to appease critics, and not to prolong careers. Boxing has far more restrictions and equiptment than MMA does, with far more negative consequences for the atheletes.
