I still can't figure out why they give legionarious more chances.
Somehow, I think his status as an ex-boxer helps, even if he only went 8-1 as a pro.

To his credit, though, he did beat Thales Leites in his last fight. I use the term "beat" loosely, because that fight was so lame the only person who got a cheer was the referee when he told both men to get busy. Still, it's not like the UFC can drop him right after he scores a win over a guy who was fresh off of a title shot.

    This just seems unfair.

Well, the last three televised fights were good...

    Spoiler:
When Buentello broke his finger, I was like "Well, card's cursed."

Jon Jones is a beast, but he displayed a couple small holes in his ground game that future competition is going to try and capitalize on.
FACT- Eddie Bravo invented the triangle choke when he used it to tap out helio gracie at an ac/dc concert.

Almost every stoppage was by way of really bizzare stuff.

Yeah... the guy I was watching the fight kept saying "he's leaving himself open for an armbar"... but given Jones' strength, I think the counter would have looked something like this:

Except with a lot more downward velocity.

    Spoiler:
Ludwig staggers Elkins with a left hook and sprawls nicely. Elkins scores a takedown and Ludwig's foot gets caught underneath him, and all his weight crashes down upon it, resulting in a gruesome injury to his lower leg. Ludwig motions for the referee immediately and the bout is called 44 seconds into the opening round, giving Elkins the TKO win.

    Gross.

I wasn't surprised by any out come.

Gonzaga makes me sad though... his muay thai is SO good... he really needs to stop heading down the path of Arlovski...
