^ Fair enough
YouTube- Fred Villari in Action
Here is the rubber neck himself. looks completely worthless to me, not to mention this guy apparently claims he is the first one to create a system that covered all the ranges of combat...if you believe that then your in left field and the game is already over.
YouTube- Villari's #13 Combination
In case you ever need to know how to smack the hell out of a completely innocent student who is retarded enough to stand still and let you while a crowd sits in amazement. Personally if that would have been my kid or me..we would have had video footage of Villaris system being effective or not.

And here is the captain himself again teaching what is cleary practical concepts
Id say its not effective. -

HAha...if you cant answer your own question on if this is effective or not, i think perhaps that fighting might not be for you.
This is bad, just bad..by a point sparring standard even. -

Style: Kyokushinkai / Kajukenbo--
I think that Villari is watered down Kajukenbo + whatever he made up or took from other styles. It's not that all the techniques suck, it's the way they are taught. In the good Kajukenbo and Hawaiian Kempo they spar hard, go to the ground, often do improvised self-defense drills (you attack and get attacked in many ways for an hour or so); in other words they use resistance and "live" training methods, in addition to partnered technique drills. With V. I'm afraid all you are going to get is compliant drills and those will get you killed in a self-defense scenario.
This may give you an idea, it's from a couple threads below. Note the difference in sparring and ask yourself, who do you think would win a "fight" between the guys in the bb sparring in the Villari video and the Kaju/Kempo guys in this video. And this isn't a tournament, like the Villari vid, this is just a throwdown meeting of a couple schools. In the second vid, a belt test I think both the guys could march through a Villari school and wipe 'em all out.
