Just make sure you keep a fat slow guy around. When **** hits the fan and it's time to run, you have a 2 min. buffer between you and the zombies.

    P.S.
I do recall a few fast moving zombies in Romero's mall remake.

Remakes aren't cannon. They failed to factor in muscular decomposition.

Bad Apple, there is plenty to eat on Easter Isle, if I can eat snake and possum I can eat iguanas. Again, that is the beauty of the Maximum Overdrive approach, zombies can't swim. They walk along the bottom and therefore subject to water pressure!

When zombies rupture, they will release their zobmie toxins, infecting both sharks and giant squid, making swimming or boating very unsafe. That's a clusterfuck of fast-moving, agile underwater undead attacking any moving object in the water.

Those jumping fish will get you when you least expect it.

That's why you make sure the phrase "I think we need a bigger boat" does not enter the equation. There is a noticable absence of pets in said movies, wonder why?

Ahh the iguana, "chicken of the trees". Like I said I once considered Diego Garcia but I never read up on Easter Island. The water pressure won't kill zombies because they don't need to breathe. When they enter the water the pressure will just equalize like it does in a fish. No implosions. You need an ocean depth chart for Easter Island, how STEEP is the island direction and speed of currents and so on.

FWIW zombie canon is currently Max Brooks "World War Z" and "Zombie Survival Guide". Romero is just a bitter old hippy. "Dawn Of The Dead" (1979) was his peak but most people draw the love/hate line begining at "Day Of The Dead"(1985). I liked it even tho Bud the zombie was kinda' cheesy. "Land Of The Dead" sucked out loud and that is why George lost his place as authority of all things zombie related. The various remakes had no input from George at all. He's listed in the credits as a rule of the directors/screenwriters guild.

Is it wrong to want laser sighting on a chainsaw?

I think we're at a disagreement as to what "it" is.
Everything should come with laser sighting.
