What about in this scenario? Verbal Judo? Perhaps standard zombie eradicating procedures will suffice.

Biker fu ftw. In a forensics class, I got to check out a skull cast from the victim of a ballpeen hammer to the forehead. It left a perfect quarter sized hole in the skull.

    flame-fu.....

i mean i can't think of an issue with burning zombies in an enclosed area.....this last part being important...can't have a bunch of half-dead MOFOs running around setting sh*t on fire

There are lots of ways to kill zombies, but the quetion you have to ask is, 'is it sustainable?'

Thats a serious question. A pit trap with a clearing mechanism would be good.

i think it could be sustainable....i would use the resultant heat to boil water for purification, heat structural compounds and various other applications

problems could arise when you run out of undead firelogs though......

Instead of burning them, what about enclosed decomposition , fermentation and heat/gas release?

Since they're undead, you pretty much have a limitless supply of manpower ... just stuff em' in a giant hamster wheel and watch the sparks fly! It's like a human Van De Graaf, but with an uglier smell. To really kick up extra amps, tie one of your non-infected buddies on the outside of the wheel.

Reach advantage. 4lb ball peen would be great, but if you have something that is walking slowly up on you and has a stronger grip than you, then a two handed swing with mild intensity wouldn't have to be close or perfect to give you enough force to kill, or enough space to back off if you glanced your shot. The other plus is that if somebody wants to bite you, the handle on an axe, maul or sledge is better at fending them off.
