Sorry sir, you did seperate but I took it as you thinking I was using modern day Randy Williams as a source of pre bjj coming of age as proof that original WC had ground work.

What do you know about original WC? Seriously, who are you, where did you come from and what is your expertise to know so much without giving any one a clue?

WC is somewhat of a living style each generation has added and subtracted. The long pole was not in the original style and the whole look and feel of WC has changed over time. Wing Chun is much fractured, there is no proof that original is better let alone can anyone say what is original because WC is a style with almost no written record of techniques only principles.

I am from Indonesia, and I didn't say that the original wingchun is the best, i said Wing chun that thaught direct from yip man didn't include ground fighting tehnique.

Let me clarify my original post and what my ďfriendĒ is claiming.
He said if my old Wing Chun instructor had to learn BJJ to enable him to fight on the ground then he obviously wasnít taught the whole Wing Chun system.
I have no problem with WC evolving and instructors adding ground fighting, subs, throws, head kicks or whatever makes it a better system I just have a problem with this person claiming that Ground fighting is part of the original WC system.

BTW here is a link to my old WC instructor. He has been discussed on here before I think people like Kevin Chan are good for the progression of MAís

That's what I thought you meant. No, there isn't a BJJ equivalent in any Stand up CMA art chun included.

If the Wing Chun system did have any groundfighting it would most probably suck.

    But No it does'nt.
