MMA Conditioning Coach Certification
I was here http://www.fight4christmma.com/ pondering the gayness of it all, when I noticed an ad that says "OPEN NEW DOORS FOR YOURSELF AND POSSIBLY A CAREER! Click the picture below to GET CERTIFIED IN MMA TRAINING!".
Upon clicking through to their site http://www.mixedmartialartscondition...g-details.html, I see that there are no previous certifications, degrees or experience to qualify for the program.
The course outline is posted on the site as well. It doesn't look too bad, though I am not sure how a "Clean and Jerk" is going to help someone's MMA game.
Any thoughts? Any certified trainers on the forum like to comment?

imo, if it aint govt certified dont touch it. and even then i have no idea how well that applies to america. the fitness industry is like the wild west, lots of smooth talking smake oil salesmen, who bring in bored middle aged housewives and fresh eyed kids and tell them they can do an easy ass course and then charge people 80 bucks an hour for workouts. not so simple.
unless you are like me and just a fuckin god, then it is that simple.

I seen this a while ago, it has martin rooney as a instructor or something, I think it's sponsored by TRX and in turn probably brandon vera is backing it, but I also think it is online, not in person, I wouldn't do it myself, not a fan of online certs,
There are MMA certs you can do with kevin kearns, JC santana, in person, but there more expensive, but worth it for the quality.

Buy this book instead, Amazon.com: Training for Warriors: The Ultimate Mixed Martial Arts Workout (9780061374333): Martin Rooney: Books It is what they are using for the course material. Many of the pictures are right out of the book and you will get the same for alot less $$$.
IMO, save your money.
