One handed judo I love it. My favorite is kata guruma. It's BJJ kryptonite.
Judo is only gentle for the guy on top.

I've been doing Judo 30 years. I can do a lot of one handed Judo. Most beginners/novices/intermediates would be pushing it to try.

It's a good time to practice basic tai sabaki, and tandoku renshuu (solo training) for your throws. I'll do a series De Ashi Barai, Kouchi Gari, Ouchi Gari, Sasae Tsurikomi Ashi, Osoto Gari, and a couple of different turning tai sabaki drills as well.

One handed Judo, especially throwing, can be more dangerous for uke due to less control available by tori as well. Be cautious.
I've been doing judo for about six months now and had some experience in BJJ before. I'm thinking a lot of one handed throws will be beyond my grasp right now, but just as well. Turns out I actually have a pretty minor fractured rib, not a torn muscle.

You can pull kata guruma off in a BJJ tournament, but how do you set it up in a judo match now that going straight for the leg is illegal?

    Not illegal, restricted.

You can do a kata guruma as long as you don't grab the leg, you can also do kata guruma as a second attack to any unrestricted primary attack eg. o uchi gari, ko uchi gari, seoi nage etc...
