Atkins Diet proved a fraud ??

Oh hell yeah, most all of us eat way too much (me in particular). I just don't have the patience, will power or most importantly palate to tolerate caloriefascism.

I'm still in decent shape, certainly far better than "averave".

By the way none of this is meant as a commentary on either proper diet or the advantages of different diet schemes. Simply my own ranting about my favorite foods.

Yeah, but that increase isn't in carbs from whole grain bread or pasta. They come in the form of high-fructose corn syrup, which seems like it's in everything these days.

I liked Davis. I didnt go to college there but I visitied my sister who did.
It was my first experience in a small town.

Good place tolive for awhile. Stay there too long and you get infected with their bubble-town mentality.

Lived there for 8 years.
