Oh hell yeah, most all of us eat way too much (me in particular). I just don't have the patience, will power or most importantly palate to tolerate caloriefascism.

I'm still in decent shape, certainly far better than "averave".

By the way none of this is meant as a commentary on either proper diet or the advantages of different diet schemes. Simply my own ranting about my favorite foods.

Yeah, but that increase isn't in carbs from whole grain bread or pasta. They come in the form of high-fructose corn syrup, which seems like it's in everything these days.

    Ka-Bar,
Correct. And just guess how big the corn lobby is in the US...
Normally, I'd say I was grappling, but I was taking down and mounting people, and JFS has kindly informed us that takedowns and being mounted are neither grappling nor anti grappling, so I'm not sure what the **** I was doing. Maybe schroedinger's sparring, where it's neither grappling nor anti-grappling until somoene observes it and collapses the waveform, and then I RNC a cat to death.----fatherdog

Well, you'd certainly know this better than I would, being at UCD and all, but I'd imagine it's one of the most influential in the country.

And the vegetable (soybean) oil lobby.

What's funny is that if you Google anything Ag-related, you get UC Davis in almost every single one of the links.

Oh yeah, UCD is the Ag authority, alright. It's funny, I almost miss that place.

Hehehehe...I stand corrected :D. Wastrel, to quote Shrek, you are like an onion...there seem to be many, many layers to you.
That's because he uses my posts as a crib sheet.

Good place tolive for awhile. Stay there too long and you get infected with their bubble-town mentality.

    Lived there for 8 years.
