    nice grappling! what'd you tap to, serge? i'm assuming a collar choke? i think you were at a disadvantage if so, since CF wasn't wearing a gi. :(

    actually, Coffeefan was just tired. He's been recovering from an injury and isn't in 100% form, so we both were being careful and stopped.

    The kid has standing base for days! You'll see that I cannot get his hips to "break" forward or backward when we're standing and that I tried four or five takedowns where he just moved into me like he's some ox or something and collapsed on top of me. I might've tapped from that if we kept going!

    Yea, I'm working on the injuries and the conditioning. We'll see how it goes next month or so.

    My favorite throw counter is to 1) take a step in the direction the person is trying to throw me. 2) Feel where they don't have a base. 3) Push them in that direction.

    It also helps that I'm a fat Jew :godtroll:
