Please no. There is too much of this shite to keep track of.

I do think Sirc rushed things at the beginning, like he wanted to finish quickly. DTT was playing a strong game but showed some fatigue there. But that gets into the "could'a/would'a/should'a" territory.
Many things we do naturally become difficult only when we try to make them intellectual subjects. It is possible to know so much about a subject that you become totally ignorant.

    Props to both of you.

People forget about the middle-age man strength DTT has. Doesn't matter if he has been training in toilet bowel lifting for twenty years he's still gonna have a lot more natural strength than someone near half his age.

Again nice job guys. That's probably the closest a Throw down will ever get to me and I had to miss out.

So that's a world first video evidence that the chun works? sorta... but not really
why were there no chain punches or wingchun deflecting blocks? serious question

I know it was an mma match not a real fight, but those techniques should still work.

The doctor just earned some of my respect.

Kudos to both fighters though, for showing up and actually fighting.

I agree. It seemed like Sirc blew his load early on and got gassed.

It kinda made me wince, because I have a bad habit of doing that, especially with sub attempts.

There was chun, alot of the advanced stuff, so it wouldn't be recognisable to the layman. Esp. pinning Sirc in the corner, futsao to the neck, trap and pound, that's chumkiu (2nd form). DTT's front kick and enter, again chunnery.

Props to both guys for having the balls to face off.

In real life, as was proven here, size wins unless the smaller guys is very good. This video is great proof of that.

bad small vs bad big = bad big win (unless a lucky hit)
good small vs bad big = 50/50 wins
very good small vs bad big = very good small win

bad small vs good big = good big win
good small vs good big = good big win (possible lucky technique small win)
very good small vs good big = 50/50 win

bad small vs very good big = get a mop and clean the floor of the little guy
good small vs very good big = Very good big wins
very good small vs very good big = very good big wins (possible lucky technique small win)

The odds are not for the smaller guy. Sorry. (This is why there are weapons)

    @Abue

I'm under the impression if the fight was pure striking ie. no grappling the tables would be reversed .

    Opinions?

That's not tsun. The real tsun is eye gouges nut kicks and elbows to the back (according to the good doctor).
