Yes he is. He says it's not (true) martial arts and that it has no respect.

He doesn't say there is no respect directly, although I see where it could be implied. To me, it looks like he is using 'respect' to convey his preference.

Do I disagree with him? Yes.
Does that bother me? No.

It's worth bearing in mind that he's expressing himself in English, his second language. I don't think he's saying that MMA is "bad" at any sort of technical level; he's objecting to the ethics of a sport that allows a fighter on top to strike the one underneath.

I think you're the one who lost credibility with your "harro harro ching chong wong wang" comment. Making up words doesn't always make you seem funny or smart or cool. Just annoying.

Although I'm disappointed that he doesn't like the sport, I can't really hate him or say he sucks. If I do that, I'll only be kidding myself.

Jackie may not admit it, but I think he's one of the bravest men in the world. Half the stunts he done would make many MMA fighters piss their pants, not even Saku's bruises at the hands of Wandy could even compare to the cracked skull Jackie got on the set of Armor Of God. His movies are great to watch (plus he's a better actor than Keanu Reeves)

And I have to confess, I was never a fan of the GNP tactic myself, it just doesn't appeal to me, the closest ones I was fine with were Sakuraba's cartwheel and jumping stomps and his Mongolion chop tactic which he used to soften up his opponents defenses so he can pull a submission.

I also personally prefer the ring over the cage to be frank.

Why? Just because I recognized the guts he must have to perform some of the world's most insane stunts. And I said he was one of the bravest, there's no denying that.
