I really like Who am I? But his best movies in my opinion were the Drunken Master movies.

I am still a big fan of Jackie Chan and will remain so. Not everyone has to like MMA. I hated when it first came out, post UFC 5, but I got into it, seeing the way the fights progress. It's a chess match, and I have a great deal of respect for the fighters who do it.

Yeah, despite my styles disparagement, I'm still a Jackie fan lol. Not to the tune some of you are but I have always liked his cheerful and comedic overtones in his movies. I gotta check out 'Who am I'. Thanks Judowned. You are obviously quite JC knowledgeable.

I can handle that he doesnt like my dishonorable gnp, but is he ok with non contact ground game? Of course.

I never watched much of his old stuff, but the Drunken Master and Police Story movies were RAD. Between Jackie and Jet Li they rule the house for action (now that the Bruce is gone).

I am glad to see I started a thread within a thread about how Jackie is a low murder-rate actor. For the family style I think thats very cool (not that his movies are for the youngins in the family but its still good principle).
You guys have provided good info and opinion about that subject.

I still dont think that dispels the irony and hypocrisy of a violent action star who doesnt like certain kinds of (organized, legal) violence. But of course its just his opinion and he is certainly entitled to it, as we all are. I still think he's one of the greatest!

well i think the whole thing was about ron smoorenburg being a bit slow to pick up on things, and jacky lost his temper.
    its not all on film.
the dude who told me speaks chinese and gave me the uncensored version of his opinion about the smoorenburg guy.
i do not know, it is hearsay, i wasn't there.

personally i don't like any martial arts movie because it's unrealistic.
the only not so crappy movie ive seen is zatoichi 2003 remake.

ma-movies are like porn: the same guys, the same girls, the same tricks and the same ending.

give me a zobie movie any time.
    or zombie porn ofcourse.

btw:i just remembered there's this GODAWFUL dutch martial arts movie called fighting fish, if you ever want to experience the sensation of feeling the uncontrollable urge to gouge your eyes out with a rusty spoon, i suggest you get your hands on it.

Best Zombie Movie of all time.

Peter Jackson's Dead Alive. Or to the Aussie's and Kiwi's Braindead.

i recently bought diary of the dead by george romero.
i'd love to make my own one day, i got the story totally finished.
its actually pretty original, well as far as you can get original with the zombie genre.

Did you ever notice how some scenes in george romero's orignal trilogy overlap?

like in part 1 if i remember correctly (im not the type that watches movies 50 times) the group of dudes fly out in a chopper (not to mistaken with day of the dead ending) and overlook a bunch of noral people walking on the ground, in another later movie, the main characters walk in that group and look up to see that chopper.

    its the same type.

My sister is a friend of Nathan Jones and sometimes acts as his assistant. He has done a few movies with Jackie Chan and my sister said Jackie is a great guy and really good to work with. She Said Nathan really likes him also.

Maybe the guy on the set was a dickhead and needed some abuse or maybe he was just having a bad day because that is not how he normally behaves (if it is actually true).

I am waiting to see Zombieland.

28 days later was a great movie, but not exactly a Zombie movie. More of a Humans with rabies movie.

    Normally behaves?

Jackie is human there are multiple reports of him acting like an ass. All actors do.
