Yeah, that's been one of the issues I've been reading about. The price is a bit steep, especially since you could build a pretty good AR/M4 style rifle for for 1000-1500 bucks. Then again, if the thing is reliable as they say along with the self lubrication and extremely low carbon fouling, then I'll pay that premium and just sell the kidney to pay for spare parts.

Datamachine, if you live in Washington and you're military you need to go to Olyarms just outside of Olympia and have the custom make you an AR-15 to your specs at cost.
Just make sure you get it chambered for 5.56 and not .223Sometimes, we put Ricin in the Cocaine. :ninja7:

Looks nice. Unfortunately, it seems like they don't have an gas piston models. I'll have to check more but it looks like the standard AR gas system. That's one of the things I'm trying to avoid. I remember the fun of spending all day after range day just cleaning and cleaning weapons. Plus I was the designated 249 man so that was even more fun...blah! I'm not in any more. This is mainly going to be a good practice/SHTF/Zombie carbine.
