I think that more and more WC/WT guys will enter competition. People start to be fed up with stupid big federations and their dishonest rulers who kick you off if you fight in prize fighting.
In a few years I believe 90% of WC guys will start to integrate grappling and boxing into WC concepts... and it will become another MMA. Evolution is something you follow or... die :D

Yeah, I'd like to see that.
@deus ex: that wasn't an excuse. If he gets beat down the other's better, that's all. Was just wondering about rules...
So, anyone know when the fight will be?

I want to see it in MMA.
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.

umm... what do you mean? if you are saying that wing chun will have to be mixed with other styles to have a chance in hell at tournament success then thats pretty obvious, and also true for every martial art under the sun...

after wrangling between the opposing camps various rule changes away from traditional K1 rules have been implemented. On the agreement of the camps K1 weight gloves have been replaced by bare knuckles, the fight will no longer take place inside a ring but in Teh Str33t , the fighters will start ten paces apart and as to fully represent each arts effectiveness each fighter will be armed with a large Ladies Handbag
Let the games begin! :D

Hmm, a Wing Chun guy in K-1 huh? Could be interesting. I heard a WC guy tried to fight in the UFC a while back, looked more like a prison rape in a shower scene from what I heard. Do WC guys perform that bad in a competitive environment?

These are NHB matches that involved WT/WC/VT. These are only from Sherdog.com, so there may be more out there.
Asbel Cancio (VT) lost to Dave Beneteau
There's a clip in bullshido downloads. Cancio comes out square with hands in a VT guard, gets taken down, mounted, and pummeled within first 20 seconds of the match.
David Levicki (WC) lost to Rickson Gracie
Do I really have to describe this one? No I don't!
David Levicki (WC) won against Kazukiro Kusayanagi
The japanese attempts a single leg and holds on to the leg while Levicki administeres strikes to his head.
David Levicki (WC) fight record
He is 1-3 and his last fight was in 1995
Greg Stott lost to Mark Kerr
Greg Stott comes out with funny jabs and foot stomps, gets to a clinch and is down from knee to the head in rnd1 0:16.
Greg Stott is not a typical WC player, but he said in his prefight interview that he draws a lot from WC.
