That's not where I want to wind-up in a fight. My finger would have been in his brain already. Then we'll see how easy it is for someone to "rain down punches" from a position he never would have gotten anyway since I don't train for people to get on top of me.

Now if you dont know how to get a guy off your chest raining punches on you could end up being beaten to death by his buddies. If you go down to the ground in a multiple attacker situation the obviously thing to do is try to get back up again as fast as you can and run like hell. Sure you may get few bruises and what not but hopefully you'll come home alive.:(

Many have said that. None have yet succeeded in doing it.

ONE: The finger in brain thing is a myth. It's not actually possible, physically.

TWO: Again, many have tried, none have succeeded.

I do not know ANY accomplished grappler who says he can take on multiple attackers and win.
I know a couple of WT/Krav Maga/Kempo guys that claim they can.
They cant. Nobody can.
The best you can do is run, or hit/throw and run.

It really boils down to simple mathematics:

person with TEH GRAPPEL >= chances of getting back up or controlling ground position

person without TEH GRAPPEL <= chances of same

Which would you rather?

I actually do know of a few cases (I talked about it before in some other posts). Its usually just two guys against one. In some circumtances they eventually were able to get free and run.
