    My question:
Who are "Grand Master Noie and Master Nyugen"?
    elitekrue's answer:
Grand Master Noie and Master Nyugen were both who trained and were granted those titles from their masters.
That just about says it all, doesn't it?

Soo I finally checked this place out tonight and it was great! The instructor very cool, the class is very intense, I barely made it to the end. I've been training at boxing inc for a while like I said and this place was something else! I really recommend that anyone interested in training Muay Thai checks this place out! I still have a contract at Boxing Inc but as soon as its over I'm deff switching here.

When fighters are announced in the ring they announcer states the fighters name and then announces where the fighter traines. We are announced as our grand masters and masters product, we are the fighters we are because of Noie and Nyugen. That is how we are announced in the ring based on respect and tradition we take on thier name.

    Fonzy,
We are glad that you came by to see for yourself what the Krue has to offer in traditional Muay Thai, you did very well. The Krue looks foward to you comming again and growing in the art.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't ครุ (teacher) normally romanized as 'khru?'

While I don't think I've never seen "krue," the most common spelling that I've personally come across is "kru." I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and refrain from explaining how Thai to English translations work. "Krue" certainly is not the norm, however.

I'm studying Thai. Still basic beginner, but everything I've seen says khru. Not sure if there is a set standard, however.

Not that it's indicative of the guy's skills, just thought it was odd.

Let me start by being honest, I do not know much about Muay Thai or Martial arts. What caught my attention is that a couple of you are skeptic about the Muay Thai gym. I don't know about the gym itself, but I do know that Roxy Martin is not what she is making herself out to be. All of the titles and championships that she says she has won, are a lie. I'm not using this website to personally attack her, but I cannot sit here anymore and watch how she tries to make herself look so good when in fact, she has not been in this type of field for long. I hope that my message gets across to that someone who wants to train with her. Please take my advice, look for a place that has more credibility and that does not involve her whatsoever. This message is intended for those of you who take this type of fighting seriously. The only thing she had done, is make a joke out of this and herself.

Do you have any proof of what you are saying? If you can't offer evidence, it's nothing more than slander, really.
