That is not specific for north south elbows and other "deadly" strikes.

Holy cow.. a lot of fighting spirit in the forum, but lets take a look at what I originally said that everybody is taking issue with:

It really isn't even much of a useful statement except for trolling, observe:

What is the definition of sufficient power, well, it is enough to kill a person. So my argument is that if you hit somebody hard enough to kill them, then they die. Congrats.. that is the statement that you all are arguing against.

I never said that these places are magic off buttons.. and these target locations are traditionally off limits in pretty much any competitive martial arts tournament that involves striking.

By the way judoka_uk.. OK.. you've convinced me.. capoeira is ghey.

Welcome. I do have a few questions, but it is probably best to keep them in a single thread (and in the proper forum).

He already posted in that thread. I was moving this post and the server crapped out.

Ikkyu in 2.5 years is pretty good. You must compete a lot and do well.

Thanks for the info. To be fair, I've been doing Judo 31 years now, and I'm a sandan.

You can always go non competitor and take longer.

But manning up and competing is probably more useful and instructive.
