Of what level? Nothing I've seen out of Marquardt suggests that his wrestling is on any kind of particularly impressive level. When I see a guy getting taken down multiple times by Thales Leites it doesn't suggest to me that he's going to turn a match with Sonnen into a standup fight.

Of elite level. In my opinion Sonnen's best victory, by far, prior to this was versus Okami. This was really Sonnen's first victory over a guy legitmately top-5.

Sonnen said something interesting in post-fight interview, which is that Vitor folds when he gets out-wrestled and he didn't think Anderson could do so. If you look at his record, everyone who beat him except Overeem was a great wrestler.

Silva actually boxed fairly evenly with Franklin before he KTFO him in the clinch. Belfort knocked Ace out from long range with one shot. I might well stick a tenner on Vitor if the odds are good.

That was kind of my point, though - Marquardt may be an elite level fighter, but his wrestling and his bottom game are both far from elite.
