Traditional Muay Thai is great, then you have the Thai names linke in Ong Bak the Movie isnt it? I trained it in Thailand for a while
Mhadtrong straight punch
Mhadawad hook punch
Mhad Soy upper cut
Teep Tronng front kick and so on
Many schools say they teach muay thai but they still name techniques as low kick etc. But i like traditional stuff with traditional names. Further more i will stick to mma basic mma and competition.

Sawadeekha,
Authentic and Traditional may also refer to the style. Even the TOP gyms around who have Thai instructors don't always use the Thai names for things. It gets confusing to the students.
We use basic Thai terminology and when students reached an advanced level they learn more Thai names for things.
Good on you to train train in Thailand and remember the names.
Good luck with MMA. -
