World MMA awards?

Does anyone know anything about these? I thought they would be cool, but the two awards I watched clips of (best fight and best fighter), neither had any fighters outside of the WEC/UFC zuffa umbrella.

Fighter of the year especially frustrated me, with guys from outside the UFC like Jake Sheilds and Gerard Mousasi having the best years of their careers. Aoki too for that matter. I am just disappointed that there isn't an award ceremony out there that isn't toeing the Zuffa company line

Are we talking about the Fighter's Only Awards from last night? With Diego Sanchez making his acceptance speech while completely wasted? I saw bits of it this morning, and wrote it off as another commercial for Zuffa.
