    LOL hardy hard men...

Maybe Bullshido should put out a video of what alive Krav training should look like to help out?
There is a lot of fight sports methods that would work for krav even things like fight prep.

You can't go flat stick all the time. Your training ramps up before a fight.

Doing a well thought taper on and off. Program for a grading might help the issue.

Yes, I understand that all. Effective training is pretty much effective training.

I don't know if any are on the web. I'll ask around.

My sparring partner who has done some videos in the past is off fighting at a Dog Brothers gathering in CA this weekend, and my sparring time is canceled next week because, coincidentally, Crafty Dog is teaching a seminar at my academy.

By the time I get a video everyone will be moved on from this thread. :-)

Many of us check for newly posted items on a regular basis. It automatically bumps it into that category and I would be happy to check out the video.

They presumably don't use full-power knee strikes in 1-on-1 sparring for similar reasons - basically, the risk of doing serious damage to a training partner being considered to outweigh the benefits.

I realise that Kyokushin and Muay Thai both allow full-power knees in competitive sparring and note that combat athletes often take risks that might be unreasonable to demand of either soldiers in training or civilians looking for self defense lessons. KM, which emphasises sparring towards developing close combat/self defense skills, is intended and designed for the latter demographics; I maintain that their compromises for safety under those circumstances are reasonable and realistic.

Now that I have time to return my attention to your Krav Maga faggotry.......

No, you are wrong. Their compromises are neither reasonable nor realistic. What else can I clear up for you?

this is the more serious side of things

    some more

What's here that shows good Krav? Nothing.

Video 1 - kickboxing. Looks nothing like the bullshit techniques found in the Krav system.

Video 2 - Scenario based firearms training. I like it fine. Again, it's not Krav. Retain weapon, create space, draw weapon. Basic BLET stuff.

    Video 3 - A dude talking.

SHOW ME THE GOOD KRAV! Show me where they test the silly RBSD techniques they teach their students. You can't. Stop trying and go back to playing Grand Theft Auto V.

Again, engaging in a bit of decent training doesn't justify the rest of your shitty training. As evidence, I present kata to the ladies and gentlemen of the jury. Sparring doesn't make your kata cease to be a fucking waste of time.
