I browsed through the marketing/amateur philosophical musings part until I got to the "You don't have any students, only clients" part...and the "by having smaller classes (up to a half dozen) you can charge 3 or 4 times as much" part...and I held back bile in my throat when he said I would then be a "Martial Arts-Life (R) Coach"...

And I stopped reading his promotional fucking materials.

this was very odd to me as well, because rodney seemed to me fairly okay (judging by his youtube material, some of which i tried in sparring with some success), also this was supposed to be a book that is for sale on Amazon.

and yet i read yesterday up to page 30~something and it really seemed like one of those "Lieutenant X: fear no man" websites.

I exchanged Facebook messages with him (or someone pretending to be him on his account), it's pretty clear that teaching you how to box isn't his biggest concern anymore.
