He used to come down to my Judo coach's school in San Diego. I always managed to miss the times he came. Onetime I came at the wrong week. DOH

There was some debate regarding his Judos skills over at Sherdog. Of course those are the same people who seriously believe that Judo is the "Lord of the rings: the movie" to BJJ's "Lord of the rings: the book.

Ehh. We all know how he looks on the ground. Thats ONE aspect of his judo. Haven't seen any other videos proving otherwise, but these vids didn't say anything new about his ground game IMO.
I've always seen good takedowns from him. Textbook O uchi Gari on Machida. I believe his last fight had a nice TD or two as well.

Its sweet to see sokoudjou actually competeing in judo, and actually doing damn good. in regards to people questioning his judo, i don't think his throws were ever in question. Just his ground. Mainly the fact that he's pretty much done once he's on his back, IE his Machida and Mousasi fights. He'd be damn good if he'd work on it a bit more though.
