His books were total fiction with the exception of "Rogue Warrior" and "Red Cell"---the rest were entirely fiction with some parts of a few of the stories having some basis to true-life events. I'm sure he changed some **** to "protect the innocent" (or guilty) but the books were certainly entertaining.
