Yeah the first time, can't remember if they had them the second time. The problem with shock knives is they burn through batteries something fierce, so you may be sparring with someone and go to light'em up and the damn knife is dead.

Not to be a killjoy, but the spring Gathering is actually a closed door Gathering - you have to be a member of the tribe to attend. The open Gathering is not until extremely late summer/early fall. At least that is my understanding.

PS - Stickhead, when we gonna see you again, man?!

Yeah I just realized that. That's good, gives me some extra time to get my sorry act together. I guess they will post the open gathering info. as we get closer to the date?

I've been to a few of these, but only fought at one. The vibe was great- everyone seemed to respect everyone else just for being there. It's a great bunch of people that show up and fight or just watch. I was there alone, and was welcomed by some nice folks from Canada. Yes, you just walk up to people and ask them to dance (Crafty uses the same analogy in the DVDs). I'm going to try to make it in the summer, but I don't think my training is up to par- I've been going through job and gym transitions that have left me devoid of anyone to play with, but I'm sure to show up.

It would be cool if we had a big Bullshido showing there.

I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a significant NoHo clan turnout - Pappy, Tennessee, Boo, Seeing Eye, Junkyard and myself, for sure. Maybe we can scrape up Scurvy out of the woodwork. It should be good. Can't wait to see you, bro.

Padraig: Just keep showing up to the open Gatherings. As long as you have the right attitude, continue to display the right spirit, you'll be tapped into the Tribe. It takes, on average, about 3 Gatherings or so.

Codos: Would love to see you again, too, bro.
