I was just playing with my cousins p85 last night. I found it weird. The was no grippies (whatever the **** you call that on the slide to give you something to hold when your cocking) and he said it was the most inaccurate pistol he's ever shot.
I was thinking of picking up a 9mm P85/P89 for my dad, is my cosin just a shitty shot or do they have accuracy issues? You are not free whose liberty is won by the rigour of other, more righteous souls. Your are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it

"K" just refers to the stainless slide, if I recall correctly. I wouldn't be surprised to find that the trigger is heavy and probably not as smooth as it could be, but that's what Ruger builds--overbuilt, heavy guns that are designed not to fail.
They take a lot of crap for being ugly and heavy, but they're tough.

I find that the rear slide serrations on my RIA 1911 don't provide enough grip, but I'm glad it doesn't have front slide serrations—they're great for making guns look ugly.
This post was brought to you by the letter "A," because I know to hyphenate "anal-retentive.":sign13:
