It seems weird and kinda pointless to me, which means I should look for a way to buy stock in the company because it will inevitably be huge.

Who said anything about sanctioning? I think they are going to start doing Inter Species MMA.

I was hoping that this would be the first step towards a Pro Wrestling style MMA organization, complete with Royal Rumbles, Ladder Matches, Tag Team Matches and the use of chairs as weapons.

Ridiculous, stupid, and a horrible gimmick.... yeah, I'm going to watch it. I don't see any station ever picking it up but if the fights get posted on youtube, I'll check them out.
My question is what gyms are willing to put their fighters in such a thing?

Supposedly they have held their first "matches" in Virginia, according to comments on their Youtube channel.

I don't doubt that there will be some laughs to be had, but I also am not a big fan of anything that makes "MMA" (as defined by no nothing jackasses) look like a joke or some ridiculous "human cockfighting" event.
