Style: Judo--
On the teaching move and counter thing, my Judo instructor has always favoured not doing both in the same lesson because it's already hard enough to pull off a move immediately after being taught it because everybody goes on the look out for it as soon as their in position for it, he favours teaching a move one week and showing the counter a few weeks later. The other argument is because it's far harder to pull off a move with one weeks training than it is to perform it.

No, the class is 90 mins, but the first half hour is warmup/conditioning, the next 45 mins is drilling, and the last 15 is wrestling (not rolling, no submissions, just wrestling).

Sirc, it's a wrestling class, no hitting. Pummelling is a big part of greco, which I'm just bastardizing.
