This will be a massive night! With UFC veterans Ricco Rodriguez & Anthony Perosh, plus Rob Hill, Ian Bone, Tony Rossini, and other Australian and international fighters putting on some awesome fights, including the two 4-man tournaments for the 70kg and 84kg. The action will be non-stop and full of skill!

$40 - General Admission Standing
$60 - 3rd & 4th Row
$70 - 2nd Row
$80 - 1st Row

I seem to have a knack for missing MMA events held in Sydney, its a fucking curse. Everytime I look it seems as though nothing is planned, I'll book something else with the missus or something (earlier this year I booked tickets to see the Shaolin performing monks, spent a shitload then the next day I saw the CFC advertising for the same night) and BAM, the CFC or another promotion will schedule an event for that day. Their last one I noticed a sign on my way back from the airport after the recent holiday. Fucking thing was the next day, schedule clash with a mates wedding. Would've ditched the wedding, too, if I wasn't a groomsman.

I just wish they'd be able to give better notice.

Found this in the paper today, no wonder there is so much fear in Australia about governmental "endorsement" of MMA:

i used to train on the sunshine coast in queensland and i'm training with perosh at the moment. also have a few friends who have fought in rize in the past.

I think I would know someone you know...Advance has a Sunshine Coast branch, as well. I don't think I've met you before...though. I've known you on the forums for a while!

i trained at a club whose members later merged with the advance people, but i moved away to sydney a couple of months before that happened. i do know a few of the other advance guys who were already there. also know matt cooper as an acquaintance. and shane balmer who ran the warriors realm shows.

do you just train at advance or do you help run rize shows and so on?
