    AMEN.

Not that there is anything inherently wrong with these schools or that what they are teaching is wrong, but if you fall for the "pay me a few grand and we will teach you to be as good as a Delta Operator" line of crap...well you know what they say about a fool and his money.

I see this stuff as similar as people who go to a bunch of 2-3 hour martial arts seminars and display their certificates as proof of some sort of martial arts mastership. You will only be as good as the total effort you put into something.

Shootdown? sounds like a good idea. I better start filling out papers now to be able to cross the border with my toys by summer... :XXbazooka

It sounds really awesome, but how do we get to Snake Mountain, Eternia?

Well, duh! You draw your sword and yell "By the power of Greyskull!"
    And then walk from there.

I brought up the idea of a "shootout throwdown" many moons ago...and most people simply weren't interested. If you get the people who are interested and can agree on what you want to learn....you just let me know. I'd be glad to share my knowledge with my Bullshido brethren for absolutely no cost whatsoever.

First and foremost...we're not bloody Europeans. We don't spell "Grayskull" or the word "GRAY" with an "e"...that's Euro-spelling, and we don't do that here! LOL

Anyone who wants to know...I can get you here with relative ease. I'm in SW Virginia.

Nice! When I saw your earlier post my first thought (after "How much will my disability limit my shooting potential?") was "Damn, bet I can't get there." I can't drive, but I might* be willing to bum a ride if someone was willing to pick me up on their way.

*I say "might" because, while I would love to meet many of the Bullies whose posts I've read over the years, I'm wary of accepting rides from strangers.

A trip to Virginia? Sounds like it might be cool to plan a few vacation days around that, but how do transport firearms?

Firearms transport through Virginia is not tricky at all. Just UNLOAD THEM and put them in a case, and you're fine. Nothing crazy at all. The main thing...is that would you want this to be like a cookout/blow **** up kind of event, or would you want a more formal curriculum? I can do something like Handgun 1-3, Rifle 1-3, Shotgun 1-3, Precision Rifle/Sniper 1-3, Basic SWAT/CQB, Low Light Survival, or any sort of Small Unit Tactics type curriculum (sort of the thing that I teach for the military on occasion).
