PDS Rifles Style: Univ. Florida Kickboxing--
its abnormally bigger than the other ones. I remember being younger and not being this disporportional. Because my other two knuckles and fingers curl more than the other two just like a chick's, the other two knuckles contact much less. I think the build-up is to compensate. pending hand pain when I get older..

1) If you punch across your body into your own cupped hand all your knuckles are hitting at one no matter what.Muhammed striking his palm with his last 3 fingers seals it for me. I provided evidence, feel free to prove otherwise.
I'm saying, he boxes with last knuckles, trained bare-handed Karate/TKD with 1st two knuckles.

1) ... If only you knew how stupid that statement was...
Simply put, You can punch into your own cupped hand with a phoenix fist/panther/etc if you wanted to you know...
You obviously haven't been watching, from 0:34~0:39, he shows a slowed version smacking into his own open hand, he rotates his fist outward and upward circular motion, typical of strikes with the last 3 knuckles/fingers (CMA, sunfist/wc punch) rather than downwards and towards the body, which is typical of strikes using 1st two knuckles/fingers (krotty punch/phoenix/dragon/panther/etc).
You'll also notice that he demo punches corkscrews clockwise which ends the thumb pointing outwards and fingers pointing upward if rotation is done 180°.
In a krotty punch, which traditionally uses the 1st two knuckles, the punch corkscrews anti-clockwise which ends the thumb pointing into the body and fingers pointing downward if rotation is done 180°.
Hope this helps.
2) Last I checked, you were the one confused on how it was possible Muhammed Ali could have developed first two knuckles. The answer is he crossed trained.Last edited by Whathappened; 12/04/2009 11:30am at .

in that video he strikes with the middle knuckle, and then twists it so that as his fist leaves his palm the last two knuckles touch. it doesn't prove anything, other than you should have used another source.
Oh and BTW i find it very hard to beleive that a professional boxer would cross train to the extent where it conditioned his hands. A boxer's hands are his tools he can't afford to **** around with them -

From 0:42~0:56, the speaker's index knuckle does not contact on the partner, but rather into space. This is especially visible when 0:52, he talks about hitting the shoulder and does a sunfist. 1:51, the same sunfist to smash into the partner's guard. Again the index finger and thumb are not contacting the partner. Cockscrew punches done all land with the last 3 knuckles. This is repeated throughout the 10min clip.
The screenshots hopefully will tell you the posture and striking angle are not optimal for landing with the 1st two knuckles neither are they used in the clip.

You wanted to know about bare-handed boxing? I sent evidence.

No. this is not evidence. this is a compliant video by people dressed liek chosonNinja, and considering their guards i would suggest that they most definitely are not boxers.
this is evidence of a bare knuckle fight.
YouTube- A long pikey fight, A good old fashioned bare knuckle fight
although, being the nature of non-compliant videos, it is difficult to see what they are doing with their knuckles, their punching looks alot like they're hitting with the first two knuckles.
EDIT:
YouTube- Damm Good Fight
This guy, who does seem to fight like a boxer, and definitely knows how to fight, definitely does not hit with the last 3 knucklesLast edited by MMAMickey; 12/04/2009 12:06pm at .

Closest I can find to reference that Muhammed Ali trained martial arts, aka Not-boxing.
