I take it you mean p.47? That actually says that Liston was training with a martial arts instructor.

I'm not even doubting that Ali may or may not have cross trained.. I'm doubting that he would deliberately damage his hands.

I give up. That fat guy video seems to be exactly what everyone has been saying and says nothing about the general conversation of punching with the last three knuckles "exclusively".
