Mir did catch Brock when they were standing up (the the whole like 10 seconds they were. he even threw that urijah faber jumping knee with the other one trapped thing. I think getting bigger was all about Brock for Mir,hopefully it helps him. I dont know why everyone thinks he talks so much ****? All I heard him say about Kongo is that he has the worst ground game in the Division..and from reading posts here that seems to be the case. If that is the case and Kongo has no take down defense tonight, its Mir in the first.

Diego is weird man. On Danas video blog he was not talking to anybody and getting all pumped up..then he started yelling "yes!Yes!!!"..I was like "dude, your gonna go weigh in. The fight isnt until tomorrow." B.J. is cool and I guess Im over him laying down for St.Pierre.Give me a scramble at least man.

It will probably be Penn,Mir,Florian....but it be nice to see Mir or Penn shaken up.

People don't like Mir because he's articulate and confident.

I think, I don't really get it either. I wish more fighters interviewed half as intelligently as he does.

Pretty much all the fights were entertaining. I could have done without the crowd booing intensely during the first fight.

I mean I know the fans want to see standup wars, but do they want a guy to stand up when he has back control or what?

I agree, however a few things I'd like to say:
    Spoiler:
Florian looked great once he woke up in the 1st. He actually got several take downs on Guida, which surprised me. Still, in hindsight is it me or does Florian look much better than Sanchez at LW. Florian finished both Stevenson and Guida, who Sanchez decisioned, and also looked better against BJ. I wonder if we'll see Florian take on Sanchez next. Any thoughts on who gets the next crack at the LW belt?

    Spoiler:
I don't think anyone really has a chance. I guess they could give it to Maynard, but I think BJ would defend his takedowns and BJ will kill him standing up.

I guess they could try to bring in Aoki, but I think BJ Penn is just a nightmare stylistically for Aoki. He would murder Aoki on the feet, take him down at will, defend his subs, and pummel the hell out of him (see Aoki/Sakurai but with punches.

    Anyone have any other ideas?

    Spoiler:
Mir/Kongo was a big disappointment. I mean, credit to Mir for capitalizing on the opening, but what the hell was Kongo doing with his hands down by his waist coming in?

Also, the finish on Florian/Guida was beautiful. If that's not fight of the night, I don't know what is.
