    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Nice of him to send a student in here for you guys to chew on.
Like a lamb to the wolves.... a lamb to the fucking wolves. I almost feel bad for whats going to happen to him.

:idea1:On the other hand, maybe its like a penence of some sort. To push your book/crap/whatever, you have to sacrafice a student on the alter of bullshido. Seems fair.

    Fuckin' lamb to the wolves.

Mst. T mentioned he had made the mistake of putting up a notice on here about our friend's book. I already explained my motivation for posting. I was not asked to do so.

DA said: "That is a complete perversion of the Khaggavisana-sutta"

    Care to elaborate on that?

"...and it is a flagrant attempt to use Buddhist teachings to raise profit."

The book is about self-improvement and is really tailored towards a specific, and very small, audience. It is not for everyone. However, the methods, including the various workouts, could benefit a wide spectrum of folks. It speaks to developing your Mind, Body & Spirit in a martial way.

I haven't seen anything else by way of replies with enough substance to respond to. Like the book, hate the book, read it or don't. But heck, if what has been posted here about it gets your panties all in a bunch, maybe you should stick to "self help" books instead of self improvement.

    Respectfully <James

Yes, you just "happened" to google the author, on this particular day, when your teacher/friend/Master stormed off, joined, and coincidentally posted on this thread with a copy of the "forward." You know, a book you have previously read.

    Yeah...no.

"self help" books instead of self improvement.

Expect an entire write-up on why your book is a complete misappropriation and perversion of the teachings of the Rhino Sutra.

Just so we're clear - who is the intended audience? People who would like to to be soldiers, but who don't want to enlist?

Exactly there is a whole "tactical" industry grown around that. Hell most of the parts on my AR15 are because of that.

So when will someone create an accessory that causes the user to lose weight?
