Just an update for anyone that cares. Weighed myself this evening at 201.2. Fighting at 200 tomorrow with weigh-ins at noon. So I'm pretty much perfect as far as weight goes. Next step, CRUSH HIM!

For this event they're just letting us have 1 corner (really sucks), but Pat will be my corner.

This is the first time at this venue. It's kind of small and the promotion wants to limit the cageside presence for this one until they see how it goes.

He weighed in and then didn't show? Goddam it sucks when that happens :(. Hope you can get another fight booked soon."Boxing is the art of hitting an opponent from the furthest distance away, exposing the least amount of your body while getting into position to punch with maximum leverage and not getting hit."

I don't know if he weighed in. Our weigh-ins were same day, and unorganized. we didn't do it as a group. you just showed up, stepped on a scale and left. I'm assuming he didn't show up for the weigh-in. This must be fairly common because when I was at the fighters meeting before the event later a number of guys still hadn't weighed-in, so they did it then (1.5 hrs before the event started). I won't be trying to fight for this org again. I'm going with another one that does day before weigh-ins in the future so I know how committed my opponent is 24 hrs in advance.
