    katana curved tsuka

my girlfriend just bought me a sword for my birthday and it looks like a katana except for the fact the tsuka is curved down in the opposite direction of the blade. The tsuka also is a few inches longer then my traditional katana. I can't seem to find any other sword like it online. I was wondering if anyone might know what it could be?:ninja2:

Sounds like a display piece based on how you are describing the curvature of the tsuka. There can be a little flexibility on tsuka length as long as it properly fits your hands (e.g. a person 6'10" with huge hands can get away with having a longer tsuka).
