    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    EA Sports MMA

    Here's a trailer, looks ok:

Wonder how the gameplay will differ from UFC's game.

looks better than that greasy UFC look. I'm hoping for blood and sweat effects.

I was a little shocked. Sure, he changed sides quickly, but I guess even a dog can realize it has more in common with the wolf than with the shephard.

I give him the names of some BJJ schools in the area, and we go our separate ways.

It would be badass if Bas Rutten was in the game.

True, the textures do look a bit more realistic, the modelling was nice in Undisputed but the sweat effect looked like thick vaseline. I did really like Undisputed but I hope the EA game has slighty quicker reactions to button presses, I always felt like there was a slight delay between a press and a punch/kick/move.

Plus I wonder if it'll be easy to gimp with the hook/throw/GnP technique.

I know that I'll be getting it or at least rent it. I'm hoping for a better create-a-fighter. The one in the UFC game was fairly unimpressive.

More robust and varied movesets, please?

I thought the textures looked horrible. Like the fighters are made out of clay, or cel-shaded or something.

I'm excited for the create-a-fighter mode, it'll almost definitely be better than Undisputed.

Also this. If Fedor and Couture punch the same way, I'm gonna be disappointed. Maybe EA should take a page out of the old Pride FC videogame's book....

this video sucked balls to be honest. The characters looked like moving statues. And also they don't sweat.bleed.get bruises? If this is how the game will be its a big na-ah. But if they improve it, it may get interesting.

The thing I want to see most in this game is the ground fighting. The ground fighting in UFC 2009 wasn't too good.

Maybe so, but "wasn't too good" is a pretty big step up from the "push a button and maybe something resembling what you wanted to happen might happen, if you're lucky" of MMA games in years past. I'll be surprised if there isn't more improvement in the next UFC game.
