Strikeforce on Australian free- to- air

Just thought I'd let Aussie MMA fans, well, poor Aussie MMA fans who can't afford Foxtel, know that Strikeforce is on Seven TWO, the new digital channel and from what I understand it is on a couple of times a week, was on last night and either Wednesday or Thursday night, about 10ish. Enough people watch MMA across SevenTWO and ONE and we might convince the pollies it is worth having the big shows down under.

I think after UFC comes here in February and they see how much money it makes, THEN they'll go "wow we need more of these!"

I was under the impression Strikeforce was on Fox8, but I haven't got Foxtel, so source is unreliable.

ONE shows UFC Wired on Thursdays at 10 or 10:30, but if a live event during the day goes over time then you could be waiting for an hour or so after. I think they also repeat it on Fridays, but I am not sure.

Fucking channel 10 and ONE are fucked at my place, there was a time they were good, but it is as if they just fucked off reception strength, now I am lucky if I get a show full of pixellation, most of the time I get a blue screen.

Tell as many people as you can about the free to air, the more people that watch it the better the ratings, the more big name companies will be willing to put their names in ad slots, the better chance we have of more **** being on. Its a vicious, oh so vicious, cycle.

Strikeforce is on one of the sports channels on Foxtel, they're showing The Ultimate Fighter 10 on Fuel TV too.

The strikeforce show shown was the shamrock vs diaz card, but the info on my tv said it was the shamrock vs cung le card. Just goes to show how much 7 cares about MMA.

According to the guide in the paper yesterday Strikeforce has disappeared from Thursday night? I thought maybe they came to their senses and decided not to run it at the same time as UFC Wired, but I can only see the Tuesday night show which only runs for 30min.
