Was it just me, or did the general production remind anyone more of normal televised sports? (compared to a UFC)

This. Turned into much more of a early-Coleman or Nog fight from Fedor's Pride days, I definitely don't think he was expecting that. And that early cut threw his rhythm.
Also, growing amount of religiousity in his thankyou speeches "...the Orthodox Russians praying me... this win is for us" etc. Hopefully he's not going to go off the deep end on that one.

    Spoiler:

    Gegard-awesome
Miller- your plan was to beat a wrestler by conditioning alone, seriously?
Rodgers- You got caught sleeping on FEDOR. At least be a gracious loser.

WTF with Jerry Millen interviewing and commentating?!

"Aaah, there's the asshole... - Did I just say that on TV?!"

This alone has turned me into a major fan of Strikeforce. Kinda reminded me of the IFL.

Shame Fedor had to win, though. I really wanted this to go to decision. But Rodgers really did give it to him.

I thought this card as a whole was better viewing than any of the last few UFCs. The fights were well matched, and there was some great grappling in the Werdum/Silva & Shields/Miller bouts.

And even better, I didn't have to sit in a bar full of douchebags or pay ludicrous PPV charges to watch it....

    2 quick items.

    1. Rodgers had his hands at his tits and knocked out for it. The end.

    2. Was I the only one yelling "TWISTER!!!" at the screen during round 2 of the Shields fight. My friends were looking at me funny.

A "cerebral assassin conducting a symphony of destruction"? Who let a fifteen-year-old write the copy?
