What Rogers matches led you to the conclusion that Choi isn't as good as him on the ground?

This lack of faith in our lord Fedor disturbs me.

basically i just have a really low opinion of choi. so when people are discussing fedor vs size and say "yeah but he beat choi", it doesn't sway me at all.

i would have said that. these two guys haven't performed so well since their bouts with fedor however.

And where do you get your ideas about Roger somehow knowing anything about ground or submissions? All we really know about the man is that he hits really, really hard - his ground game is a fairly unknown factor.
rogers probably won't land many punches or submit fedor. on a technical level fedor is from another universe.

i just think the size and power difference will give him some trouble, and rogers has a chance at knocking him out.

Some people are never the same after a fight. I can think of quite a few examples actually. David Louiseau was never the same after Rich Franklin cleaned his clock for 5 rounds, first example that comes to mind.

Lennox Lewis (after Vitali Klitschko unofficially won their fight) is the first such fighter who comes to my mind. Lewis was pretty articulate before their fight, he retired after their fight, and sounded punch drunk when he got a commentary gig.

I wasn't really thinking punch drunk necessarily, but that's certainly true. I was more thinking that some people almost realize that they can get hurt once somebody beats the snot out of them. Arlovski was the same way for like 2 years after he lost to Tim Sylvia the first time.

Mark Kerr after Igor Vovchanchyn is the first that comes to my mind.

Many things we do naturally become difficult only when we try to make them intellectual subjects. It is possible to know so much about a subject that you become totally ignorant.
