    Hell yeah! Hell no!
when fedor threw that punch, he was in a position for a possible takedown with his weight moving against rogers, plus he'd ducked the hook that rogers had started throwing.

if fedor had missed, he'd probably have ended up with a takedown attempt or pushed rogers away to reset.

    pretty much.

shields was working but couldn't make significant progress without taking a risk which would end up with him being on the bottom or miller standing up.

he simply couldn't find a way to finish it.

that's not planned, just the most sensible course of action to take in that situation.

Fedor did a good job with the TKO

The Miller fight was pretty crazy..I dont know why miller didnt try to sprawl.

The best fight for GSP right now I think is Cung Le. The best fight for Lesnar is Fedor.
WHy cant we just all get along and make money.

He's also a bit handicapped by the lack of elbows in Strikeforce. Guys like Penn, Florian, GSP would probably be regarded as more boring as well if they couldn't slice n' dice from on top.

Maybe. I'd like to see the Carwin-Lesnar fight first. Either of them versus Overeem would also be good.

i personally regard shields' bjj overall as "pretty awesome", with an especially great mount control.

this, and franklin's moving up anyway (or possibly pioneering the cruiserweight division).

i stand by my assessment that for most of that time, miller was struggling for position/trying to really get it in. i don't believe it was until really close to the end of the round that miller got his elbow under shields' chin, and by that time, shields was desperately looking at the clock.
also, i don't recall miller having his other arm behind shields' neck for extra leverage, but i could be wrong.
