    Hell yeah! Hell no!
    Spoiler:
Overall it was an entertaining card. Lately though I've been feeling that aggressive use of submission grappling / jits has declined slowly but surely. I guess it's getting harder and harder since practically everyone in UFC has a solid ground game these days. It's a good thing I enjoy watching two guys bang the **** out of each other too.

Anyway, the main fight. Even though it was 90% hug fest it was still interesting to watch Couture execute and win with superior game plan.

Is it just me or does Vera have trouble doing the right things very often? The first round restarts, clinching out of habit a couple of times in the second and clearly having "oh **** why did I just do that" body language right after plus not actively trying to get out of the clinch game when he had a chance. I'm pretty sure he would have won with slightly more clear headed fighting.. Or listening to his corner more.

I was positively surprised by Bisping's performance. I don't know much about Kang (somehow I missed most of Pride and never got around to watching them afterwards) but I was sure it would be over fast after they hit the ground the first time. Guess he really has been working on his ground game.

Curiosity killed the cat. But damn it had a blast.

This. But after the long match break he did seem a lot leaner than he did just now. He is indeed starting to grow into the old man body type. Brute strength ftw.

Well, good to see you'll be fine.

On a serious note, Couture wore the **** out of Vera, Vera could hardly stand up after the fight was done and looked exhausted at the end of the fight.

I also loved the **** out of the first round of Bisping (no, Mike Goldberg, not Bizzbing, Bisping) v. Kang, that's what an exciting round of jiu-jitsu looks like.

No really that fight was pretty pathetic. Leaning as a strategy, yaaaaaaaah! Actually it was a close fight but.... the ref's got it wrong and Vera should have one after all he was the only one who really was busy.

The overall card was pretty bad and I wish I had those hours back!

I was not surprised by that decision, Vera definitely did more damage than Randy, however Randy was more dominating (boring game plan, but still dominating)

Vera had the opportunity in the third to land one or two of those body kicks.

I didn't find the main event boring at all. I enjoy wrestling and I find the clinch exciting, it's suspenseful when your waiting for a takedown or a disengagement with some big shots.

If I had better Photoshop skills I'd make an image of the UFC JUST BLEED guy and make the words on his chest read JUST LEAN.

Yeah, I agree. Couture's tactic worked perfectly after he got to clinch range.

And true. First round of Bisping - Kang was indeed great grappling.

What a pointless post this was, just agreeing with you.
